National Indigenous Music Awards

The Scottish Music Awards have been the main fundraising event for Nordoff Robbins Scotland since 1996 raising thousands of pounds to make music change the lives of hundreds of people in Scotland. The 71-year-old strutted the stage while performing her hit If I Could Turn Back Time, wearing a black leather get-up with sheer panels, and a matching black curly wig — an outfit reminiscent of the one she wore in her original 1989 music video. Rather it is a supplement for enrichment and musical advancement, and is intended to afford to the Award recipient opportunities, which are not normally provided in a university or conservatory setting.
